Recovering Your Computer After a Virus Attack and Speed Up Computers

Computer is very useful item these days. More than 90% of human activities been achieved through computers. It's very easy and fast when getting something done by a computer.

Like human beings infected by various kids of viruses, computers too can be affected by special computer programs. Those programs called viruses, trojans, spywares, malwares, etc.

Viruses can be dangerous and completely interrupt the normal operation of a computer. When a virus attacks a computer, the user cannot do his/her works normally. Computer slows down in speed, it will sometimes restarts suddenly (Restarting can be happen due to some hardware issues) and so many unexpected activities can be happened. But the important thing is, there are good antivirus software introduced which most completely remove the virus and recover the normal process of the computer.

Other kinds of viruses like trojans, malwares comes to the computer automatically when you connect to the internet and these special programs runs on the background without showing anything. In this case computers can be slow down in speed. There are special malware programs written to install on a computer automatically and running in background. While running those programs makes some modifications to the windows registry. Due to this some parts and options of windows operating system may not works. This will never recovered even when they clean viruses. So computer operators get confused and taking various kinds of actions like formatting the hard disc and install operating systems again, which cost more than 2 or 3 hours. But these registry issues can be recovered with a little effort. What they need to do is, first of all check their computer for viruses and other kinds of infections using an updated virus guard and clean them carefully. Then by making little modifications in windows registry they can overcome computer issues.

Most of these malwares comes through pen drives, which is very useful and valuable portable memory stick. So how can we prevent from malware attacks when using a pen drive? It's easy. More than 80% of attacks can be stopped by understanding how these attacks activated.

These trojans and malwares written to activate when someone double clicks on a memory stick. More than 50% attacks activated by double click. So it is very important not to double click on a pen drive if you cannot assure that it is not infected with virus. You can use "Folder" button on toolbar (Windows) to get the folder and drives pane into th left. (Windows explorer) Then just open pen drive with a single click on relevant drive letter. This way you can prevent from being affected by malwares even if your computer' virus guard not updated or virus guard expired.
